Screencap from MSNBC video of Bush’s very first use of announcement of his very first use of the veto pen. A few frames later, the little girl’s father reached over and grabbed her hand, quickly moving it out of camera range.

*Update 2* YouTube video

  1. The precocity of America’s youth…

  2. She knows she owes her very existence to embryo research and the destruction of blastocysts.

  3. Out of the mouths - er, hands - of babes…

  4. I hear all the kids got stuffed pander bears to take home with them.

  5. Is there some cosmic reason why Bush invariably looks like an idiot in these pictures? Aside from the obvious explanation that he IS an idiot, of course.

  6. Put George Bush is a room full of toddlers and guess which one is going to have that “lost in the department store look”…

  7. There is more intelligence in that little girl’s eyes than in Preznit Asshat’s.

Yeah. Was it not the least bit strange, Santorum’s heartfelt plea on the Senate floor yesterday, that everyone stop and remember this (paraphrasing): ‘every one of these stem cells exists because a couple sought to bring life into this world.’

Yeah, and every single one of these couples, Senator, knew that the very procedure they were undertaking guaranteed a little collection of these doomed-to-be-thrown-away blastocysts. The irony, Senator, the irony!

  9. One more reason we should continue to kill innocent blastocysts… they might grow up to be 3-year-old blogofacists…

  10. Bush Vetoes Lifesaving Research Funding Bill in Se…

“(…) saying that an embryonic stem-cell research bill “crossed a moral boundary.”

I’d like to know what crosses more of a moral boundary: not funding research that could save thousands of lives and possibly cure horrible diseases, or saving…

  11. To see the stem cell debate explained with visuals and how the political argument put forth by the President is ultimately an absurd manipulation of the facts…link here:

  12. This isn’t real, or at least wasn’t at the site of the ‘first veto’ — Bush didn’t allow any cameras in to the room where he was signing the veto order

  13. You would think that this photo would motivate Bush to kill any and all blastocysts before they have a chance grow up into enemies of the state who hate America like this kid. I mean, isn’t is obvious the kid is an evil, dangerous terrorist who helped the ragheads blow up the World Trade Center and attack the Pentagon? She has forfeited her American citizenship and will be immediately executed for her massive, vicious, evil crimes against the United States and peace, freedom and democracy.

  14. SkippyFlipjack-

It’s from an MSNBC broadcast earlier today, when Bush held his press conference and surrounded himself with “Snowflake Babies” to make the announcement of the veto. All I did was add and sharpen the inset for detail.

    Word.

  15. Skippy: BUt he had a post-signing photo op witha room full of former blastocysts, i believe.

  16. marymary beat me. and yeah, although I can’t remember if it was post- or pre- veto. (why did I say post”signing”? ack.)

  17. lol… Anyone have the video by chance?

  18. Somewhere there is a blastocyst with its middle cell raised in defiance.

  19. I’m a former blastocyst myself… where is my invite to the reception? :(

  20. Watch the birdie!…

I really need to teach the Junior Op to do this….

  21. 1.Bush, Russia, microfone glitch…
    2.Bush, Germany, Merkel ma-e-ssage…
    3.Bush, US, Toddler flips off..
    4….
    5…
..and how long will it take you to dig the latest Bush-PROPAGANDA-campaign ?

  22. Why does that adorable little munchkin hate America?

  23. The only way I’ve been able to embed you tube video is by going into the SQL database and adding the code. My website uses Wordpress as well.

  24. Our fearless decider doesn’t give a sh*t about life, FOLLOW THE MONEY- this is about protecting future proceeds and patents. It is the CEO preznit protecting corp interests, as always. F- the suffering.

  25. […] Some kid coincidentally entends her middle finger while sucking her thumb - behind Bush!! […]

  27. Isn’t that baby trying to flip off Bush with its forefinger? What are they teaching kids these days?

  28. Such a bitter group of people. Get over it already!!!

  29. “Such a bitter group of people. Get over it already!!!”

What do you mean? That precious little tyke was simply giving Mr. Bush due credit. Just another kudo for the “intelligent design” president! Now can someone out there just find his bicycle? He’s got an important appointment to get to with the orthodonist…

  30. Stem cell can fix “mitch The bitche’s” eyes you know.

  31. I find it disgusting that some people would deliberately construe the innocent gesture of a child with someone flipping the bird. Have you no decency?

  32. Suddenly I feel much better about America’s future voters!

  33. (re: Bob Krawetz’s comment)

You find it disgusting, while most find it somewhat funny, esp. considering the irony.

The difference? Most people have a sense of humor. How is it *disgusting*? Please. Is this somehow corrupting the child’s innocence? Do you think said toddler reads this blog? Or do you actually think that we collectively *believe* that a toddler would really, intentionally, flip the bird to the thief-in-chief? Most people aren’t that stupid, honestly.

Geez, some people’s kids… (and I’m not refering to the toddler)

  34. I would G. Bush and all the “right to lifers” explain how a blastocyst and a fetus are important life forms but a youth in the prime of life are fodder to be slaugtered and exploited in war for fun and profit.

  35. Being deeply religious, he can only assume that the hand of god caused that child to do this, right?

  36. Now that’s funny!

here’s another video of of Bush but this one is all of the “Bloopers” he’s made giving speaches…

  37. It’s obvious, to anyone not afflicted with BDS, that she’s flipping off Helen Thomas.

  38. You know, this is probably saying something…

But i don’t think anyone knows anymore
