Michelle has a post up detailing the horrific story of a young girl in Nigeria who was stoned to death by a lynch mob for “distributing inciting leaflets bordering on religion”.

The life of a 20yr old girl (name withheld) was prematurely terminated in Izom in Gawu Babangida Local Government Area of Niger State yesterday as she was stoned to death by irate youths for distributing inciting leaflets bordering on religion.

Trouble started at about noon when the girl whose identity is yet to be ascertained was said to have walked straight into the Jumat Mosque in Izom where she dropped the inciting letter in the Mosque.

As the letter was opened, it was discovered that it was a letter full of unprintable materials accusing both Prophet Muhammad, Jesus Christ and even some living and dead Pastors of some misdeeds.

The lady was immediately trailed and arrested by the people who also handed her over to the police.

While the lady was under protective police custody for interrogation, the news of the inciting letter had spread to the town while the youth immediately mobilized and stormed the Izom Police station where they demanded for the release of the girl for instant judgement.

And here, predictably, Michelle chimes in with:

“The youth.” Can you guess what religion they were?

She’s such a bigot. Yes, apparently, the youths who made up the lynch mob were Muslims. But what the hell does it matter? People who participate in lynchings are despicable whatever their religion.

Murderous thugs are murderous thugs. The Muslim religious fanatics who killed that poor Nigerian girl are no better or worse than the Christian religious fanatics who bomb abortion clinics or kill gays, or hang black men for dating white women. They’re called fanatics for a reason.

But rather than denouncing religious fanaticism in general, Michelle is fixed on the fact that it was Muslim religious fanatics who committed this horrible murder. It fits her narrative that followers of the Muslim faith are inferior to Christians– that Muslims are inherently evil and dangerous and should be regarded with suspicion, tortured, profiled, locked away in concentration camps. She seizes on every act of Muslim violence as “proof” that she’s been right about them all along. It’s how she justifies her belief that Muslim prisoners are undeserving of trials or even legal representation. It’s how she justifies her bigotry.

An emailer weighs in:

Malkin denounces “The bloodthirsty Muslim youth” that “stone(d) the Christian girl to death…” And yeah, obviously this was a horrible crime and should be denounced. But Malkin only thinks so because it was a Christian girl being killed by “bloodthirsty Muslims” (why does she even bother with this, doesn’t she just assume all Muslims are bloodthirsty?).

But where does she get that the girl is Christian? It’s never mentioned in either article she cites. In fact, what two of the articles mention is that her inflamatory tract denigrated the Prophet Mommamed and Jesus Christ. Accusing Christ of “misdeeds” strongly implies to me that she was not Christian.

So this brings up 2 questions. One, does she even bother reading these articles anymore before jumping to the most bigoted conclusion possible? I mean it was mentioned in two of the articles, in the parts that she posted herself! The second question is, if somebody was killed by a mob for denigrating “just” Jesus Christ, would Malkin still condemn it?

My guess is, she’d want to do a video tribute to the mob for killing the offending infidel. Or more realistically, the Malkins would simply ignore it, just like they’ve been ignoring the Haditha story and the soldier rape story, the McKinney acquittal, and everything else that doesn’t fit into their warped worldview.
